Job Responsibilities
Administrative Duties:
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and care.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Answer phones, triage calls, and respond to inquiries.
- Maintain and update patient records.
- Prepare and organize charts for daily appointments.
Clinical Duties (as applicable to certification/experience):
- Take and record vital signs, patient history, and reason for visit.
- Prepare exam rooms and assist during exams and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and inventory of medical supplies.
Operational & Management Support:
- Assist the clinic manager with daily operational tasks.
- Support inventory management.
- Help track and report patient flow, cancellations, and wait times.
- Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives to improve clinic workflows and operational efficiency.
- Help ensure regulatory compliance and clinic adherence.
- Coordinate with the operational manager to ensure all facility and regulatory requirements are current, including labor law posters, business licenses, and fire extinguisher inspections.
- Promptly report any office facility or structural issues to the operational manager to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or clinic setting is required.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA) is preferred but not always required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- A professional, compassionate, and patient-oriented demeanor.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) is a plus.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
