What are the responsibilities and job description for the Road Technician position at Alliance Material Handling Inc?
Compensation: Starting at $24/hr, based on experience
We’re looking for experienced forklift mechanics/field service technicians to join our team. You will start your day from home and go directly to customer sites - no daily shop reporting! We offer competitive pay, independence, and a company-provided truck.

What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts (electric, gas, LP)
- Service industrial batteries and chargers
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Travel to customer sites throughout the day
- Communicate directly with customers on repairs and recommendations
- All other responsibilities/duties as assigned
What You Need:
- Experience as a forklift mechanic, diesel mechanic, or equipment technician
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Your own tools
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs and work in various positions
