We’re hiring a Public Relations Specialist in Atlanta (Buckhead area). This role is focused on driving local market PR strategy and execution for high-profile restaurant and retail brands—supporting everything from LTOs to grand openings and major campaign moments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute PR strategies for LTOs, tentpole campaigns, holidays, and new store openings
- Own timelines, media outreach plans, and local event coordination
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and store leadership
- Identify trends to maximize launch impact
Media & Communications
- Build and manage relationships with Atlanta, and regional media
- Draft and distribute press releases, advisories, and campaign materials
- Serve as the primary media contact for client's brands in Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama
- Manage interviews, media inquiries, and press opportunties
Performance Measurement
- Track and report campaign performance using PR tools
- Use insights to optimize future campaigns
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- 3 years of post graduate PR experience (restaurant, retail)
- Proven success securing coverage in the Atlanta market
- Strong media relationships and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with tools like Cision, Meltwater, or similar preferred
