Manufacturing Quality Systems Engineer

At 3:00pm in Ripon, WI, you step onto the floor and sync with the Quality Leader. Together you align priorities for design and process compatibility, then partner with Supplier Quality Engineers, Product Engineering, and Purchasing to evaluate the capability of both current and potential suppliers. Throughout Monday–Thursday until 1:00am, you mentor teams in structured problem solving, keep process risks in check with Control Plans and PFMEAs, and turn insights from capability studies into action.

• Lead and coach effective, structured problem-solving; help develop team capability through training and hands-on support.
• Use and maintain Control Plans and PFMEA to sustain process control and mitigate risk.
• Apply process and machine capability studies (e.g., Cp/Cpk) to identify improvement opportunities for present and future requirements.
• Track and drive closure of supplier-related quality and productivity issues, ensuring durable corrective actions.
• Specify and procure inspection and test equipment required for assigned production areas.
• Supervise and guide quality process control and audit personnel assigned to your area.
• Maintain complete, accurate quality documentation for testing and audits aligned to engineering specifications.
• Support introduction of new designs, ensuring processes meet engineering requirements at launch.
• Own KPI board execution—clarify who will do what, by when—to meet goals on time.
• Foster an “Everyone Owns Quality” culture by engaging employees to solve problems at the source.

This role operates under the general direction of the Quality Leader and works cross-functionally with Supplier Quality Engineers, Product Engineering, and Purchasing.

• Onsite in Ripon, WI
• 2nd shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00pm to 1:00am

• AS degree in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing discipline required
• BS degree in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing discipline desired

• 2–4 years in quality assurance and/or quality control preferred
• Proficiency with Quality Tools: capability studies, process mapping, FMEA, control charts, and higher-level Six Sigma methods
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Experience working in a project team environment is beneficial

• Work involves extended periods of sitting, as well as standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending, and minimal lifting
