What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Alliance Innovations LLC?
Alliance Innovations is a family owned and operated business that is currently seeking a General Laborer. Starting rate of pay is between $15-17/HR. We work four 10 hours shifts Monday thru Thursday. We are closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Overtime may be scheduled on the weekends per business needs.
Purpose of the Role/Role Overview: To support the facility in cleanliness and assist departments with material handling.
General Duties/Key Responsibilities:
Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment using hand tools, power tools, forklifts, or carts.
Clean and organize workspaces/breakrooms, remove debris/trash, and prepare workspaces for projects.
Operate hand tools (drills, saws, grinders) and machinery forklift as needed.
Follow all safety protocols, report hazards, and ensure compliance with OSHA or other safety standards.
Remove materials by sweeping, salvage usable items, and dispose of waste or hazardous materials when required.
Participate in meetings, follow supervisor instructions, and contribute to improving productivity.
Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
Front load forklift experience.
Basic Math Skills Required.
Physical Requirements:
Be able to stand for long periods of time on a concrete floor.
Be able to climb in a front load forklift.
Be able to be in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment being exposed to forklift, machining, and potentially other loud noises.
Be able to hear and or see the machine alarms with abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Be able to wear all necessary PPE such as steel toed boots, safety glasses, etc.
Be able to have physical stamina and proper use and alignment of material/equipment.
