Summary/objective
The Executive Vice President of Finance & Accounting (EVP) will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, overseeing all financial aspects of the organization. This role is responsible for managing the company’s treasury, financial planning, and reporting, while also providing financial oversight and analysis for Franchise Members. Additionally, the EVP will play a key role in supporting franchise development initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) financial analysis.
Essential functions
- Corporate Financial Leadership
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and audit.
- Manage treasury functions, cash flow, and capital structure to ensure financial stability.
- Oversee banking relationship, debt structure and covenant compliance.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Franchise Member Financial Analysis
- Oversee and review Franchise Members submitted financial statements provide Operations with greater insight into Franchise Member performance and financial stability.
- Corporate Operations Financial Support
- Work closely with our corporate-owned operations to understand our business, oversee the financial statements and provide greater insight into managing the business profitably.
- Franchise Development Mergers & Acquisitions
- Financial analysis and oversight for potential Franchise Member acquisitions and MatchMaker transactions.
- Oversight of and involvement in valuation models and financial impact assessments used in Franchise Member acquisitions and MatchMaker transactions.
- Advise leadership on deal structures and integration planning.
- Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to GAAP, regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Build and lead a high-performing accounting and finance team.
- Partner with other departments to drive business performance and strategic initiatives.

Work environment
- Professional corporate and team-oriented environment
- Hybrid work schedule with at least 2 days each week in office
Physical demands
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Standard business hours although some overtime may be required to meet deadlines or manage unexpected issues
Travel required
- Occasional travel to various franchise locations, conferences, and meetings. This will involve air travel, driving, and spending extended periods away from home.
Required education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including treasury and corporate finance.
- Proven track record in M&A financial analysis.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
Preferred education and experience
- Experience in franchise operations and/or multi-unit business models strongly preferred.
- MBA or CPA preferred
