Alliance for wellness is looking to hire exceptional Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) for Santa Clarita Valley!
Alliance for Wellness is a well-established psychiatric group serving the Southern California area. Our healthcare organization provides comprehensive psychiatric services across a wide spectrum of healthcare settings. We are rapidly expanding our services throughout Santa Clarita County and are looking for adept, compassionate, board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to join our team.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with an advanced degree for Psychiatric Nurse (PMHNP-BC)
- License to practice in California as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner including 2N, 2N DEA license.
- Have experience working with SPMI or chemical dependence populations.
- Experience working in an acute care setting is a plus.
- At least 2 years working experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is required for the position.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Initial Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation
- Provide 1:1 Medication management; and psychiatric assessments.
- Documentation in EMR
- Provide psychiatric care under the advice and support of a seasoned Psychiatrist.
- Work collaboratively with medical staff.
- Will mainly support our newly established clinic at Henry Mayo NewHall Hospital in Valencia, CA.
- This is a Per Diem position with a fixed every other weekend schedule.
