The Payroll Specialist will report to the Julie Peintner
Classification: Exempt
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process payroll using ADP (Workforce Now or similar)
- Ensure accuracy of wages, deductions, and bonuses
- Validate timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies
- Manage off-cycle payrolls and adjustments
- Maintain compliance with payroll laws and tax regulations
- Prepare payroll reports and support audits
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries
- Identify and implement process improvements
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 years payroll processing experience
- Hands-on ADP experience required
- Knowledge of multi-state payroll laws
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Excel
- CPP certification preferred
- Healthcare or clinical research experience preferred
