What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Alliance For Help?
We’re looking for a caring, patient Direct Support Professional to support an adult with an intellectual disability. Because this role includes hands-on personal care , a male caregiver is preferred to respect the individual’s privacy and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living (personal care, routines, meals)
- Provide behavioral support and help the individual build self-regulation skills
- Encourage community participation through walks, outings, and activities the individual enjoys
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Calm, consistent, and respectful
- Comfortable supporting behavioral needs
- Committed to helping the person grow in independence and confidence
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
