What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internal Medicine Residency ... position at Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine?
McLeod Health is actively seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician to fill the position of outpatient faculty for our newly created Internal Medicine Program. The program will be welcoming our first class of 13 residents in July 2026. This Physician will practice outpatient medicine both with residents and in private clinic. Faculty will also assist with general IM didactics and weekly ambulatory didactics.

- Prior educational experience and/or administrative experience preferred but not required.
- Must hold current Internal Medicine Board Certification by the ABIM or be Board eligible
- We will consider board-certified FM trained physicians with >3 years of teaching experience
- Outpatient procedural skill set (shoulder and knee injections, derm procedures, I and D) preferred but not required.
- Eligible for full licensure to practice medicine in the state of South Carolina.
- Eligible for unrestricted Active Medical Staff privileges.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
