Alliance Entertainment is launching Alliance Live Commerce, a new sales division built around live 

shopping on TikTok Live, Whatnot, eBay Live, and other live-commerce platforms. We are looking for 

energetic, credible, sales-driven personalities to become the on-camera sellers who help build this 

business from the ground up.

This is not a traditional retail position, a call-center role, or a job where you read from a 

script. You will host live shows, demonstrate products, interact with viewers in real time, create 

urgency and excitement, and turn product knowledge and personality into sales.

You will work inside Alliance Entertainment's 900,000-square-foot distribution center in 

Shepherdsville, Kentucky, with access to approximately 325,000 SKUs. The warehouse itself will be 

part of the experience: real inventory, real products, and authentic live selling from one of the 

largest entertainment distribution operations in North America.

The Products You May Sell

Alliance carries an unusually broad assortment of entertainment and pop-culture products. Live 

shows may focus on one category, one brand, one intellectual property, a new-release event, or a 

mix of warehouse finds.

• Vinyl records, CDs, box sets, special editions, catalog music, and weekly new music releases

• Movies and television on DVD, Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, collector editions, and specialty video

• Video games, consoles, accessories, Nintendo Switch products, Xbox products, and gaming 

merchandise

• Arcade machines, home arcade products, and related gaming hardware

• Funko products and other licensed pop-culture collectibles

• Handmade by Robots products

• Toys, figures, statues, and licensed merchandise

• Trading cards, sports cards, gaming cards, and other collectible products

• Consumer electronics, accessories, and entertainment-related technology

• Books, comics, graphic novels, and other entertainment publishing products

• Limited editions, exclusives, signed items, numbered products, and premium collectibles

• New, frontline merchandise with sustainable recurring demand

• Returns, excess inventory, closeouts, open-box items, and products with shopworn packaging when 

clearly disclosed

• Reggae, rock, heavy metal, hip-hop, country, jazz, soundtrack, and catalog-music shows

• Hello Kitty, Star Wars, Marvel, Disney, anime, horror, gaming, and other IP-focused 

events

• Funko, Handmade by Robots, toys, collectibles, and limited-edition product shows

• Video game, console, accessory, and arcade-product shows

• Movie, television, 4K, horror, cult-film, and collector-edition video shows

• Warehouse deals featuring excess inventory, returns, closeouts, or shopworn packaging

• Seasonal events, holiday shows, product launches, brand events, and special promotions

What You Will Do

• Host live shopping broadcasts on TikTok Live, Whatnot, eBay Live, and other approved 

platforms.

• Present products in an engaging, knowledgeable, authentic, and sales-oriented manner.

• Explain product features, editions, condition, availability, value, and relevant background 

information.

• Interact continuously with viewers, answer questions, respond to comments, and build a sense of 

community.

• Create urgency and excitement without making inaccurate or misleading claims.

• Conduct fixed-price sales, auctions, product drops, themed events, and other live-selling formats.

• Learn new product categories and prepare for scheduled shows.

• Work with the Director, Alliance Live Commerce and warehouse, merchandising, purchasing, 

marketing, and operations teams.

• Help select products and develop show concepts based on inventory, new releases, seasonality, 

customer interest, and sales performance.

• Follow pricing guidance, minimum selling prices, auction rules, product-condition disclosures, 

and margin requirements.

• Accurately describe returns, open-box items, excess inventory, or shopworn packaging when those 

products are featured.

• Maintain an energetic and professional on-camera presence during extended live sessions.

• Help build repeat audiences, followers, customer loyalty, and recurring appointment-viewing 

programs.

• Review performance data and use coaching to improve conversion, revenue per hour, average order 

value, and customer engagement.

• Represent Alliance Entertainment, its vendor partners, and the products we sell with 

professionalism and credibility.

• Excellent verbal communication and the ability to explain products clearly

• Quick thinking and the ability to adapt when a live show changes direction

• Curiosity and willingness to learn across multiple entertainment categories

• Comfort interacting with viewers and responding to live comments

• Good judgment, reliability, preparation, and attention to detail

• A collaborative attitude and willingness to receive coaching

• The stamina and discipline to remain engaging during long or frequent live broadcasts

Experience That Could Make You a Strong Candidate

Direct live-commerce experience is preferred, but we are open to compelling candidates from 

adjacent backgrounds who demonstrate strong sales ability, product passion, and on-camera 

potential.

• TikTok Live, Whatnot, eBay Live, Amazon Live, Twitch, YouTube Live, Instagram Live, or similar 

platforms

• Retail sales, commissioned sales, auctions, product demonstrations, or home-shopping 

environments

• Social-media content creation, livestreaming, podcasting, broadcasting, radio, television, 

theater, or public speaking

• Music retail, record stores, gaming stores, toy stores, collectibles businesses, hobby shops, or 

entertainment retail

• Deep knowledge of vinyl, music, movies, video games, Funko, toys, trading cards, collectibles, 

anime, or pop culture

• Customer service or community management in a fast-paced consumer environment

opportunities to become lead hosts, specialize in major categories, develop signature shows, train

Work Environment and Schedule

• This is a full-time, on-site position at Alliance Entertainment's distribution center in 

Shepherdsville, Kentucky.

• The role will be performed in and around an active warehouse environment.

• Schedules may include daytime, evening, and occasional weekend broadcasts based on customer 

viewing patterns and programming needs.

• The position requires the ability to remain on camera, speak, present, and engage viewers for 

extended periods.
