What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Alliance Elevator Solutions, LLC?
Primary Responsibility:
The qualified candidate will perform any warehouse task required at Alliance Elevator Solutions’ (AES’s) facility. As the Warehouse Associate you will inventory products in their correct locations, receive incoming deliveries, log deliveries in AES’s ERP system, manage inventories, maintain the warehouses' overall cleanliness, stage equipment for outbound deliveries and inspect products for defects or damages. Additional tasks may also assemble, and package products related to orders. You could be asked to work out of 2 warehouse locations periodically as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks with a sit-down style forklift and pallet jacks
- Warehouse organization/maintenance/repairs
- Receive equipment into inventory system
- Manage inventory
- Assist with freight claims when required
- Janitorial tasks as required

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Most duties in a warehouse involve interacting with team members, customers, and suppliers.
- Understanding of how to use computers and other types of technology at AES. Knowledge about specific applications, including Excel and spreadsheet applications is very helpful.
- Capability to work in a team is crucial in the Warehouse Associate position.
- Prior sit-down forklift experience required. Majority of materials are not standard pallet dimensions.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential in all AES professions, especially in the AES warehouse.
- Excellent organizational skills
