Journeyman Electrician - Service Work

Alliance Electrical Services is a growing commercial electrical contractor looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. We are seeking a dependable, motivated electrician with strong troubleshooting skills and experience handling commercial service calls independently.

Position Overview

This position focuses primarily on commercial service work, including troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, tenant finish-outs, and small projects. The ideal candidate can work directly with customers, diagnose electrical issues efficiently, and complete jobs safely and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond to commercial service calls and troubleshoot electrical issues
• Perform repairs, installations, and maintenance on commercial electrical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Install and service panels, lighting, circuits, controls, and related equipment
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Maintain accurate service documentation and material lists
• Follow all NEC codes and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Current Journeyman Electrician license required
• Minimum eight (8) years of commercial electrical experience (including apprenticeship)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience handling service calls independently
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
