We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join a precision manufacturing operation in West Chester, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for candidates with at least 2 years of CNC machining experience who can independently set up and operate CNC equipment.
The successful candidates will work with advanced multi-axis machining technology to produce precision components for medical device applications while maintaining strict quality and dimensional standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machining equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and process documentation.
- Select tooling and perform tool-offset adjustments.
- Inspect components using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Maintain tight tolerances and required surface finishes.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and support production efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience.
- Ability to independently set up and operate CNC machines.
- Strong blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation skills.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, offsets, and machining fundamentals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with Mazak, Mazatrol, Star Swiss-type CNC lathes, Citizen, Tsugami, Haas, Okuma, Mori Seiki, DMG Mori, Makino, multi-axis milling and turning, or similar equipment. Experience in medical device, aerospace, defense, or other tight-tolerance manufacturing is an advantage.
Compensation: $22–$30 per hour, depending on experience, plus a 15% second-shift differential or 30% third-shift differential, where applicable.
Shifts: First, second, and third shifts available.
Location: West Chester, PA 19380. This is an on-site position. Applicants should be local to the area or able to reliably commute.
Multiple positions are available. Candidates with relevant CNC setup and operating experience are encouraged to apply.
