Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage utility construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project deadlines are met
- Supervise and lead a team of construction workers to ensure work is being completed efficiently and accurately
- Ensure that all work is being performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports, safety inspections, and material orders
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the construction process and work to find solutions quickly and effectively
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns
Job Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in utility construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Extensive knowledge of underground utility systems, including water, sewer, and gas
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA certification is a plus
