Full-Time Customer Service Representative/Teller
Alliance Community Bank is currently accepting applications for a Full Time CSR/Teller. Interested candidates are expected to be committed to meeting the needs of customers by providing friendly, professional and quality service.
Essential roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Customer Service – properly greeting and assisting customers and staff
- Assisting consumer and business customers with opening accounts as well as any maintenance changes.
- Assisting customers with IRAs and HSA accounts
- Ordering checks
- Assisting customers with online banking, billpay, and mobile app
- Debit card maintenance and fraud
- Providing efficient completion of client transactions such as accepting deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, verifying cash and endorsements, cashing checks, counting coin and issuing money orders and cashier checks
- Preparing individual daily balance of teller cash drawer as well as other reports as needed
- Answering incoming telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner
- Proactively participating in cross-selling of bank products and services and making referrals to loan officers and wealth management advisors
*Position Type
*This is a Full-Time, non-exempt permanent position. The hourly shift will vary Monday through Friday and every other Saturday morning. The hours may vary based on staffing needs.
Skills and Experience
- Customer service and cash handling experience is preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and team participation skills
- Applicant must possess strong attention to detail while proficiently completing daily tasks
- Optimistic, self-motivated and teachable
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Preferably a knowledge of complex customer situations such as Estates, Trusts, Power of Attorney, and Business entities.
- Operation of basic work tools - Desktop computers, scanners/copiers, 10 key calculator
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
