Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our brand new facility in Mount Pleasant. Alliance Childcare is a family owned childcare facility coming to Park West in March 2024. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the academic and social development of students. This role involves working closely with families and children to enhance their learning experiences, plan and implement lessons for the class and support individual needs of students, communicate effectively with parents and co-teachers.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Educate students in various subjects nurturing their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a conducive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure positive collaboration.
- Provide early intervention strategies for students requiring additional support.
- Help children to learn life skills such as sharing, patience with others, independence, and kindness for others.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare or educational settings is preferred but not required.
- Education in early childhood or related field preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff members.
- Experience working with special education programs is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to meet varying student needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
