Your Responsibilities

• Lead with Excellence: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to ensure top-tier care is consistently delivered.
• Daily Oversight: Conduct rounds to ensure adherence to nursing standards and protocols.
• Resident Care: Provide compassionate, person-centered care, swiftly addressing concerns.
• Compliance and Surveys: Actively participate in facility surveys, ensuring all regulatory standards are met.
• Team Leadership: Support and mentor nursing staff, cultivating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Education and Training: Facilitate in-service training to keep staff updated on best practices and regulatory changes.
• Incident Reporting: Investigate and document incidents, ensuring proper follow-up and resolution.
• Care Planning: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and review individualized care plans.
• Emergency Response: Lead in emergency situations, ensuring the safety of both residents and staff.
• Quality Assurance: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall care experience.

Qualifications

• Valid RN License in the State of New Jersey
• Nursing home or long-term care experience preferred
• A passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care and a commitment to excellence and professionalism
