Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper for a private residence to maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable home environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates integrity, respects household privacy, and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Make beds, change linens, and manage laundry (washing, drying, folding, ironing as needed)
- Organize living spaces, closets, and storage areas
- Clean interior windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Take out trash and recycling; maintain cleanliness of waste areas
- Restock household supplies (soap, paper goods, cleaning items)
- Identify and report necessary repairs or maintenance concerns
- Follow household guidelines on security, privacy, pets, and cleaning products
- Occasionally assist with meal prep, errands, or other household tasks if requested
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential housekeeping or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Trustworthy, reliable, and respectful of household confidentiality
- Comfortable around children and/or pets
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical cleaning tasks
- Knowledge of cleaning products, safe chemical use, and proper sanitation techniques
- Must have a valid driver's license to run errands
