POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Mechanical Engineering will lead and oversee the company’s mechanical engineering team. This role is responsible for driving innovation, ensuring operational excellence, and aligning engineering initiatives with the company's business objectives. The Director of Mechanical Engineering will provide leadership, vision, and direction for their team, ensuring that our custom automation solutions and products meet the highest quality standards
and customer expectations.

Define and drive the engineering roadmap in collaboration with leadership.
Ensure alignment of mechanical engineering initiatives with procurement and operations teams.

Optimize engineering workflows, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project execution and delivery.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field); Master’s degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, preferably in automation, robotics, or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong track record of leading engineering teams in the development of automation solutions and products.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, drive process improvements, and optimize cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and engineering resources.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
