- Standards Training/Employee Development
- Identifies resource needs and works with manager to secure resources.
- Approves timelines and verify quoted hours match timelines.
- Assigns lead engineers and completes project KPI tracking.
- Assures equipment meets Alliance and Customer Standards.
- Works with managers and HR to maintain robust training systems.
- Assists with on boarding new hires.
- Leads weekly L10 meetings.
- Maintains department schedules per timelines and resource availability.
- Establish and maintains relationships with external contractors.
- Conducts yearly performance reviews with direct reports.
- Reviews quotes prior to submittal.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. A Master’s degree may be preferred.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in control systems engineering, with 2-3 years in a leadership or project management role.
- Expertise in control systems design, PLC programming, SCADA, and DCS.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate teams.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, process control, and instrumentation.
- Experience with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, NFPA, OSHA).
