We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential HVAC Service Manager to lead our service department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing technicians, ensuring high-quality customer service, and driving departmental profitability. The ideal candidate combines strong technical HVAC knowledge with leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the residential HVAC service department
  • Supervise, coach, and support HVAC service technicians and dispatch staff
  • Schedule and coordinate service calls to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor technician performance, productivity, and quality of work
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local codes
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution
  • Review and approve service estimates, invoices, and warranties
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, margins, and call completion rates
  • Maintain inventory control and oversee parts ordering
  • Recruit, hire, and train new service team members
  • Collaborate with sales and installation teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability


Qualifications

  • 5 years of residential HVAC experience (service and troubleshooting)
  • 2 years in a supervisory or management role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Service Titan software
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and repair
  • EPA Certification required (NATE certification a plus)
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with service management software and dispatch systems
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
