Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the residential HVAC service department
- Supervise, coach, and support HVAC service technicians and dispatch staff
- Schedule and coordinate service calls to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Monitor technician performance, productivity, and quality of work
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local codes
- Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution
- Review and approve service estimates, invoices, and warranties
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, margins, and call completion rates
- Maintain inventory control and oversee parts ordering
- Recruit, hire, and train new service team members
- Collaborate with sales and installation teams to ensure seamless operations
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability
- 5 years of residential HVAC experience (service and troubleshooting)
- 2 years in a supervisory or management role preferred
- Strong knowledge of Service Titan software
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and repair
- EPA Certification required (NATE certification a plus)
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with service management software and dispatch systems
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
