We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinic Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing a dental clinic or medical office, with expertise in managed care and medical administrative support. This role is essential for ensuring that our clinic runs smoothly, providing high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards such as JCAHO.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of patient care.
- Supervise administrative staff, including receptionists and medical records personnel, to ensure effective communication and coordination within the team.
- Oversee patient scheduling, billing, and insurance verification processes to enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, including nurses and dental professionals, to facilitate optimal patient care and service delivery.
- Implement policies and procedures that comply with healthcare regulations and best practices for quality assurance.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to address issues, provide training, and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Monitor clinic performance metrics and develop strategies for improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Clinic Administrator or in a similar managerial role within a dental or medical office setting.
- Strong knowledge of managed care principles, JCAHO standards, and healthcare regulations. NAF credentialing process.
- Proficiency in managing medical administrative support functions, including scheduling, billing, and records management.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure compliance with all operational policies.
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
