LUBE TECHNICIAN – HEAVY EQUIPMENT
Allgood Construction has been an industry leading general contractor in the Houston area for 40 years, specializing in the installation of underground utilities, paving construction, and large excavation projects.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Lube Technician to join our team. The Lube Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper lubrication, maintenance, and inspection of heavy equipment to keep operations running smoothly. This role is critical in supporting the efficiency and longevity of construction equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Inspect fluid levels, replenish, and / or replace as needed.
· Lubricate moving parts with specific lubricants.
· Perform work as outlined in accordance with manufacturers recommended service intervals.
· Replace filters such as oil, fuel, hydraulic, and air conditioning.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have at least one year of experience in the construction heavy equipment industry.
· Valid driver’s license and able to pass a background check.
· Must be able to adapt to temperature changes, outdoor conditions, and prolonged exposure to dusty, wet or humid conditions, loud noises and vibration.
· Be self-motivated and efficient.
· Good communication skills.
· Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time.
· Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
· Exposed to loud noises.
· Possibly be exposed to extreme weather conditions.
SCHEDULE:
· Monday – Friday
· Overtime after 40 hours per week worked.
· Weekends, as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
