Alleviating Minds is a newly opened mental health practice and we are looking for candidates that are dedicated, driven, and have a willingness to learn. We believe in an empathetic approach in our work and as a team. Our office is a warm, inviting atmosphere and we are committed to providing every therapist with tools they need to help them give their clients the best experience possible. We look forward to adding another like-minded therapist into our group. We offer psychotherapy services for children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors as well as couples.
We are looking for Therapist's that have obtained their Master's and are working towards their LPC,LSW, or other Counseling Credential to join our growing practice. Our on-site Clinical social worker will be helping new therapists navigate different situations they may encounter with clients and teach them how to help clients achieve their goals. Our practice offers clinical and supervision hours that will lead you to becoming clinically licensed. This is a full-time position. We will consider LSW/LPC-Intern for practicum and/or internship.
Duties
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based psychotherapy techniques
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need
Develop treatment plans and goals in collaboration with clients
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychologists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care
Utilize various therapeutic modalities, such as art therapy or behavioral therapy, to address client needs
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide mental health counseling using evidence-based practices, including behavioral therapy and clinical counseling.
Facilitate group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment for clients to share experiences and learn from one another.
Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information at all times.
Offer religious counseling when appropriate, integrating spiritual guidance into therapeutic practices for clients who seek it.
Provide support in inpatient settings as needed, assisting clients during their recovery journey.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or mental health related field
- Current licensure or certification as a Social Worker or Counselor
- Knowledge of psychotherapy techniques and interventions
- Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
