What are the responsibilities and job description for the Independent Massage Therapist (1099) – Build Your Client Base – Boulder position at Alleviate Sports Massage?
Alleviate Sports Massage is a growing, sports-focused massage practice located inside Alternative Medicine Outpost, a multidisciplinary wellness clinic in Boulder.
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Licensed Massage Therapist who wants a professional environment in which to practice while developing a consistent client base.
- This opportunity is best suited for a therapist who:
- Already has clients they would like to bring into an established practice
- Is comfortable networking and generating referrals
- Wants to build their own clientele over time
- Values client retention and developing long-term therapeutic relationships
Alleviate Sports Massage provides marketing and operational support, but this is not a guaranteed-booking position. Contractors are expected to take an active role in retaining clients, generating referrals, and helping develop their practice.
Compensation
Expected compensation ranges from approximately $40 to $90 per completed appointment (possibly more), depending on session length, client source, experience, and incentive tier.
Contractors receive increased compensation for clients they personally bring into the practice. An additional revenue-based compensation increase is also available after reaching an established performance milestone.
The complete compensation structure will be discussed during the interview and included in the independent-contractor agreement.
There are no guaranteed hours or minimum number of appointments.
