The Production Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the stability and reliability of our production environments by providing timely and effective support for software applications and systems. This position involves monitoring system performance, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and maintain seamless business operations. The specialist will collaborate closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand system requirements and troubleshoot complex problems. They will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and recommending process enhancements. Ultimately, this role is essential for maintaining high service availability and delivering a positive user experience across all production platforms.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P’s) relevant to production work activities.
- Comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System and relevant standards within job role.
- Work with Production Manager and Director of Operations to identify improved processes for greater efficiencies and accuracy.
- Fill out/complete the following documents, as required, for each work order. Also, create Work Order Jackets to include the following documents:
- Pick Report
- Work Instruction
- Content Label (Insert)
- Carton Label
- Batch Report
- Line Clearance
- Label Specification
- Scrap Report
- Reorder Report
- Modification Report
- Modification Approval Report
- Print all controlled labels from work instructions
- Communicate with sales representatives, warehouse personnel, quality assurance, pack engineering, and production manager to ensure accuracy of details associated with the above forms.
- Carry-out projects and duties as assigned by your manager in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner.
- Other/ related duties as required.
Education & Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to prioritize projects.
- A flexible approach to work is helpful due to dynamic work environment, and the capability of handling multiple priorities.
Other Requirements
- Must maintain a valid driving license
