Summary Of Position
The Clinical Operations Improvement Manager plays a key role in enhancing AllerVie Health’s clinical, operational, and financial performance across multiple sites. Reporting to the VP of Compliance and Clinical Operations, this position drives operational efficiency, revenue cycle optimization, and seamless process integration between clinical and administrative teams.
The ideal candidate is a results-oriented operator who can analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and lead training and change management initiatives that improve patient throughput, charge capture, and overall revenue realization.

Reporting to the VP of Compliance and Clinical Operations, this position drives operational efficiency, revenue cycle optimization, and seamless process integration between clinical and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities
Revenue Cycle Optimization
- Oversee and improve end-to-end revenue cycle processes, including charge capture, coding, billing, payment posting, and denial management.
- Partner with clinical and administrative teams to ensure documentation, coding, and claims submission are accurate, timely, and compliant.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to identify revenue leakage and optimize financial performance.
- Ensure adherence to payer guidelines, allergy and immunology-specific coding requirements, and federal regulations.
- Support routine and ad-hoc RCM audits to ensure compliance, identify process gaps, and implement corrective actions that improve charge capture accuracy, coding integrity, and revenue performance.
- Collaborate with RCM leadership to streamline workflows and reduce front-end to back-end friction.
- Serve as a bridge between clinical operations, compliance, and revenue cycle functions to align workflows with patient care and business objectives.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrators to streamline documentation, scheduling, and encounter workflows within EHR systems.
- Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, reduce denials, and increase patient throughput.
- Standardize clinical and operational best practices across locations to ensure scalability and consistency.
- Use EHR and RCM analytics (e.g., Athena, NextGen, Epic) to identify trends, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Support or lead technology implementations, integrations, and workflow enhancements to optimize digital efficiency.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track key operational and financial metrics for leadership review.
- Design and deliver training programs on documentation accuracy, billing, compliance, and operational best practices.
- Support onboarding and integration of newly acquired practices into AllerVie Health’s clinical and financial systems.
- Mentor regional and site leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure adoption of new processes and technology.
- Support due diligence and integration activities for new market entries or acquisitions.
- Contribute to the development of scalable, standardized infrastructure to support rapid expansion and sustainable profitability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5 years of experience in healthcare operations, practice management, or revenue cycle optimization, preferably in a multi-site or specialty environment.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, EHR systems, and payer compliance requirements.
- Proven experience leading process improvement, training, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Lean/Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification preferred.
- Increased patient throughput and clinical efficiency.
- Improved revenue realization and RCM KPIs (e.g., clean claim rate, denial reduction, days in A/R).
- Consistent adoption of standardized workflows across sites.
- Successful integration and training outcomes for new initiatives or acquisitions.
- Positive collaboration and alignment between Clinical, Operations, and RCM teams.
