The Opportunity
We are seeking a Head of Procurement to build and lead our procurement and supply chain function from the ground up.
This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a build-and-grow environment. You won’t be stepping into a fully built function—you’ll be creating it. From establishing processes and systems to managing vendors and driving cost savings, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how procurement operates across a growing, multi-site healthcare organization. This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities, however, the procurement function evolves, there may be opportunities to oversee additional staff or resources in the future.

What You’ll Do
- Build and implement procurement processes, policies, and systems to support a growing, multi-site organization
- Lead sourcing initiatives, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and pricing optimization
- Establish and manage vendor relationships, driving performance, accountability, and value
- Take ownership of biologics management, including:
- Rebate tracking and optimization
- Inventory management to reduce waste and cost
- Coordination with key vendors
- Create and maintain a centralized contract repository, improving visibility into agreements, pricing, and renewals
- Standardize purchasing practices across all locations to ensure consistency, compliance, and cost control
- Analyze spend data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and process improvements
- Partner with finance, operations, and clinical leadership to align procurement with organizational priorities
- Support onboarding and integration of new clinic locations
- Provide reporting and insights on procurement performance, savings initiatives, and vendor metrics
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare Administration, or related field, preferred
- 6–9 years of procurement or supply chain experience (healthcare, MSO, or multi-site preferred)
- Proven ability to both execute and build or improve processes and systems
- Experience with vendor negotiations, sourcing, and cost containment
- Experience with inventory management, including optimizing stock levels, reducing waste, and improving inventory controls
- Exposure to biologics, pharmaceuticals, or other high-cost clinical supplies strongly preferred
- Experience with contract tracking systems or vendor repositories is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into action
- A hands-on, self-starter mindset with comfort operating in an evolving environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and levels
- Ability to travel as needed
