Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the clinic.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments and answer inquiries.
- Perform insurance verification and collect payments as needed.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Utilize EMR systems such as eClinicalWorks, for documentation and scheduling.
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and managing correspondence.
- Support administrative functions within the office to ensure efficient operations.
- Travel to other offices when needed.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical office role is preferred.
- Familiarity with EHR system (eClinicalWorks).
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance patient communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for effective patient interactions.
