Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour


Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service while managing front desk operations in a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires proficiency in various medical administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate medical records.


Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the clinic.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments and answer inquiries.
  • Perform insurance verification and collect payments as needed.
  • Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Utilize EMR systems such as eClinicalWorks, for documentation and scheduling.
  • Review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and managing correspondence.
  • Support administrative functions within the office to ensure efficient operations.
  • Travel to other offices when needed.


Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical office role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EHR system (eClinicalWorks).
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus to enhance patient communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for effective patient interactions.
