Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our growing team on a part-time basis (approximately 15-20 hours per week). This position is ideal for a pharmacist who values patient-centered care, enjoys collaborating with physicians and clinical staff, and appreciates a flexible part-time schedule.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
- Counsel patients regarding medication use, side effects, and adherence.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and support quality assurance initiatives.
- Assist with inventory management and specialty medication workflows as needed.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing.
- PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.
- Experience with specialty pharmacy, allergy/immunology therapies, or physician office-based pharmacy is preferred but not required.
