What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nationally Certified Medical Assistant Needed (CMA, CCMA or NCMA) position at Allergy and Injections Medical?
We are seeking a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (CMA,NCMA or CCMA)to becme a part of our team! We are a two physician allergy and immunology practice in West Los Angeles. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks including allergy skin testing, allergy shots, IM injections, venipuncture and pulmonary function testing
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Escort patients to exam rooms
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
