Reception Manager β Allergy & Immunology Practice
Full-Time | Multi-Location (Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, Novi, Bingham Farms, Chelsea, Brighton, and Canton, MI)
Our busy Allergy & Immunology practice is seeking a highly organized, professional and dependable Reception Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our front desk and call center teams. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and can effectively manage multiple priorities across several clinic sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the reception and call center teams across all clinic locations.
- Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at each site and in all functional roles.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, training progress, and provide remediation or coaching when needed.
- Review and approve employee timecards to ensure accuracy and compliance with scheduling policies.
- Collaborate with management and providers to ensure smooth clinic flow and high-quality patient experiences.
- Develop a strong understanding of the allergy and immunology specialty, including provider preferences and office protocols.
- Serve as a reliable, approachable point of contact for both staff and providers across all offices.
- Demonstrate flexibility and strong problem-solving skills to address scheduling conflicts, workflow challenges, and patient service concerns.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor during high-volume or stressful situations, setting a positive tone for the team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in medical office or clinic management required; allergy & immunology or specialty practice experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute between all listed locations as needed.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate operational needs.
