The Allentown School District is the third-largest urban school district in Pennsylvania, serving approximately 17,000 students across 25 early childhood, elementary, middle, and high schools in Allentown, PA. The Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction aligned with the district’s curriculum to support student learning and achievement. Key responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assessing student performance, fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to address individual student needs. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Allentown, PA.

• Strong classroom management and teaching skills to create an environment conducive to learning
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and colleagues
• Ability to plan, organize, and deliver instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Familiarity with educational technology and tools to enhance the learning experience
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment and promoting equity
• State teaching certification and a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Experience in urban education or working with diverse student populations is a plus
• Passion for education and a dedication to improving student outcomes
