The Patient Transport Driver’s main responsibility is moving patients to various locations throughout the community in a safe but punctual manner. We are expanding our operations and are looking for reliable staff with a passion for recovery to help individuals in their recovery journey. The ideal candidate will have an excellent driving record and enjoy being with people. This candidate will understand our mission and have the highest ethical standards in a supportive team.

Essential Functions:
- Safely drive passenger van with staff and patients to various appointments in a punctual and timely manner.
- Safely pick up patients for admission, and transport to other facilities upon discharge.
- Safe daily transport to the YMCA in Auburn and other weekly field trips.
- Pick up retail and grocery orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle interior and exterior.
- Report all maintenance/mechanical issues immediately.
- Follow all state and federal traffic laws at all times.
- Clearly communicate with staff upon arrival and location at all times.
- Always maintain confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or one year van driver experience
- Mental Health/Substance Abuse facilities, preferred.
- Clean driving record for 2 years.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
