Marketing Coordinator

Allenberry Resort & Spa
Boiling Springs, PA Full Time
POSTED ON 8/25/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 9/23/2026

About the Role

Allenberry is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support the day-to-day engine of our marketing operation. This isn't a role where you wait for assignments — you'll carry the execution side of our marketing forward, from on-property collateral and website updates to concert ticketing, email campaigns, and guest communication.

You'll also help manage how we talk to our guests: the pre-arrival, on-property, and post-stay communication that drives upsells, and the ongoing work of keeping our guest database engaged rather than dormant. This part of the role contributes directly to revenue.

You'll work directly with the Director of Marketing, who owns our marketing strategy, budget, and priorities. Your job is to bring that direction to life reliably and well — you'll be trusted to execute without step-by-step supervision, while the Director sets the plan. You'll also be the day-to-day marketing contact for our Spa and Food & Beverage teams, helping them promote packages, events, and seasonal offerings.

What You'll Do

On-Property Collateral & Print

• Manage the full lifecycle of property collateral: in-room materials, menus, signage, rack cards, flyers, digital displays, and event programs

• Coordinate with designers and print vendors on production, proofing, and delivery timelines

• Audit collateral across the property regularly to catch outdated pricing, expired offers, and worn materials

• Maintain brand standards and a central library of current, approved assets

Website

• Handle ongoing website updates: event listings, offers, packages, seasonal content, rates, and imagery

• Keep the events calendar accurate and current across all digital touchpoints

• Write and refresh page copy; upload and optimize photography

• Flag technical issues and coordinate with our web developer on larger changes

Ticketing & Event Marketing

• Build and configure event listings in Ticket Tailor, including pricing tiers, on-sale dates, seating, promo codes, and fees

• Manage the promotional timeline for each concert and event, from announcement through day-of

• Monitor sales pacing and flag underperforming events early so we can adjust

• Coordinate with box office, operations, and talent partners on marketing assets and approvals

• Pull post-event sales and attendance reporting

Email Marketing

• Build, test, and deploy marketing emails: event announcements, seasonal promotions, packages, and newsletters

• Manage the email calendar so we're consistent without overwhelming our list

• Maintain list segmentation and hygiene; ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM and platform requirements

• Report on performance and test subject lines, send times, and offers over time

Guest Communication & Upselling

• Support the guest communication journey across pre-arrival, on-property, and post-stay touchpoints

• Build and deploy upsell offers — room upgrades, spa treatments, dining reservations, event tickets, and packages — timed to when guests are most likely to say yes

• Write guest-facing copy that sounds like Allenberry, not like a template

• Partner with Front Desk, Spa, and F&B on the offers they're presenting in person, so what a guest sees in an email matches what they hear at check-in

• Help test and refine offers, timing, and channels; report on results

Guest Database & Retention

• Maintain our guest database: keep it clean, segmented, accurate, and growing

• Execute ongoing engagement programs that give past guests a reason to hear from us between stays — seasonal offers, event announcements, anniversary and birthday touches, win-back campaigns

• Build and maintain segmentation that reflects how guests actually differ: first-time vs. returning, leisure vs. group, spa-driven vs. event-driven, high-value vs. occasional

• Grow the database through on-property capture, web forms, ticketing purchases, and event registrations

• Track engagement, repeat-visit, and list-health metrics over time and report on trends

Analytics & Channel Reporting

• Pull and interpret performance data for the campaigns you run — email, web, ticketing, and guest communication

• Maintain tracking links and UTM conventions so attribution stays clean

• Flag what's working and what isn't while there's still time to adjust, not after the fact

• Contribute channel-level numbers to the monthly marketing report the Director builds for leadership

Spa & Food and Beverage

• Serve as the marketing partner to our Spa and F&B teams

• Translate their packages, seasonal menus, and special events into campaigns across web, email, and on-property channels

• Maintain a rolling promotional calendar with both departments so campaigns are planned, not scrambled

• Ensure their offerings are represented accurately everywhere guests encounter them

Who You Are

Beyond the qualifications, here's the person we're picturing:

• You notice the rack card with last season's pricing before anyone points it out to you.

• You care whether the work moved the number, not just whether it shipped on time.

• You can hold a dozen deadlines at once without dropping one, and you have a system for it — not just a good memory.

• You're comfortable walking into the kitchen or over to the spa to sort something out face to face, rather than sending a third email.

• You take direction well and run with it. Once you know the goal, you don't need to be walked through the steps.

• You write like a person. Your promotional copy persuades without sounding like it came out of a template.

• When the numbers don't make sense, you get curious rather than moving on.

• Event nights energize you. You want to see the room full and know your work helped fill it.

Required

• 3–5 years of marketing experience, ideally in hospitality, entertainment, tourism, retail, or a similar guest-facing environment

• A track record of executing campaigns reliably with minimal supervision — you've been trusted to take a plan and run it

• Hands-on experience with an email marketing platform (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, or similar)

• Comfort making updates in a CMS

• Working knowledge of Google Analytics — you don't need to be an analyst, but you should be able to navigate the platform, pull the numbers behind your own campaigns, and explain what they mean

• Experience managing a customer or guest database, including segmentation and list growth

• Strong writing skills and a sharp eye for proofreading

• Excellent project management instincts: you track deadlines, chase approvals, and things don't fall through the cracks

• Ability to work evenings and weekends around key events as needed

• Reliable transportation to our Boiling Springs property

Preferred

• Experience with a self-serve ticketing platform — we use Ticket Tailor, but Eventbrite, Etix, or similar translates well

• Familiarity with a cloud-based hotel PMS — we use Cloudbeds, but experience with Opera, Mews, or similar is relevant

• Prior experience building upsell or loyalty programs

• Comfort using AI tools such as Claude and Claude Design in day-to-day marketing work

• Basic design skills in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite

• Paid social or paid search campaign experience

• Photography or video editing ability

• Familiarity with hotel, resort, spa, or restaurant operations
