About The Position
The Legal Recruiting Coordinator supports the recruitment and onboarding of law students and early-career attorneys. This role works closely with the Legal Recruiting Manager to execute all aspects of the firm’s law student recruiting efforts and the Summer Associate Program. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment. This position is currently hybrid.

Compensation
Allen Matkins is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a competitive compensation & benefits package. The anticipated base salary range for this full-time role is $70,000- $90,000 per year. Actual salary will depend upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and location.
The base salary range displayed on the job posting reflects the estimated range for new hire salaries for the position. The actual offered base salary will be determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, job-related skills and qualifications. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external business factors.

About The Position
The Legal Recruiting Coordinator supports the recruitment and onboarding of law students and early-career attorneys. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Law School Outreach & Law Student Recruiting
- Coordinate law school outreach and on-campus recruitment, including registering the firm for on-campus programs, resume screening, offer processes, interview scheduling and evaluations, and maintaining recruiting statistics.
- Updates and maintains interviewer materials, collateral materials, and swag.
- Interfaces directly with law student candidates and coordinates communication throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinates and attends campus career events.
- Coordinates logistics of the Summer Associate Program, including event planning and execution, tracking program budgets, and assisting with vendor contracts and venue selection.
- Supports the summer mentor program, work assignment system, and performance feedback process.
- Partners with the Professional Development team to deliver a robust summer orientation and training curriculum.
- Tracks offer decisions and maintains associated documentation and data.
- Ensures timely and accurate data entry into the applicant tracking system.
- Maintains organized candidate and summer associate files, reports, and metrics.
- Compiles recruiting data and assists with generating internal reports.
- Assists with 3L and post-clerkship hiring as needed.
- Provides general administrative support to the legal recruiting team and performs other duties as assigned to meet department goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience has been directly related to the functions of the job.
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting or human resources experience preferred.
- Prior recruiting experience in a legal, professional, or academic setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of talent management tools such as LawCruit, FloRecruit, or ViDesktop a plus; experience with similar database tools for applicant tracking and onboarding a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
