With $1,000 in his pocket, Allen Lund made the brave decision to start his own transportation brokerage company. It was 1976, when Allen Lund Company formally opened the first office in Los Angeles. Now, we have 41 offices and continue to grow!

We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team!. The Human Resource Coordinator position requires constant interaction with executives, branch / department managers, front-line employees, and vendors. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide a comprehensive support of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department that is customer focused in the following areas. You will -
Protect the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations.Provide administrative support to all HR staffProvide general administrative support of the office, including maintenance of equipment and supplies, filing, phones and messages, opening and sorting mail, faxes, tracking deadlines and processing confidential documents or information, updating HR forms and procedures, etc.Maintain personnel files, and legal binders with new hire required forms.Maintain, distribute, and track HR forms and compliance including paperwork flow for new hires, terms, promotions and performance reviews, and Employee referral program.Coordination of HR subscriptions and membershipsCover / Assist Executive Secretary - as neededManage employee email accounts with IT DepartmentCompose Employee Classification changesProvide updates to executive team on : New Hires, New Hire Orientation, internships and Performance ReviewsCreate and maintain reports for HR Director on employee retention statisticsCompliance PostersAudit Company website and intranet, request updates as neededWellness / Company Culture ambassador (Blood Drive, Annual Flu Shots, Smoking Cessation Program, etc.)Build and maintain policy / procedure database for customer RFI's (requests for information) and HR information auditsEmployee Relations :
As the point person for H.R. related needs; identify employees' H.R. needs, answer basic procedural questions, direct specialized issues to the appropriate team member (employee relations, benefits, recruiting, training, etc.).Training, Event Planning, Special Projects :
Direct special employee engagement events; room / material preparation, meals, after hour events, etc.Direct and track required Manager trainingAssist and / or coordinate special HR projectsAssist with Work Study Intern ProgramSkills and Experience :
