Allen Industries is seeking a Safety Manager to lead health and safety initiatives across our organization. This role ensures compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other safety standards while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage safety programs to ensure employee safety and operational compliance.
- Conduct audits, investigate incidents, and maintain OSHA logs.
- Oversee DOT compliance and monitor fleet safety using Geotab telematics.
- Lead emergency preparedness efforts, including CPR/AED training and fire safety protocols.
- Manage hazardous waste procedures and environmental compliance.
- Deliver safety training and maintain accurate records.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and cost-saving initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in safety management or related field (Master’s preferred).
- OSHA certifications and CPR/AED trainer certification required.
- Minimum 5 years of safety management experience, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
