Allen & Furr Insurance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Independently manage an assigned book of business, maintaining high levels of accuracy, responsiveness, and client satisfaction.
- Review, analyze, and update client insurance portfolios to ensure appropriate coverage and risk management strategies.
- Manage or support quoting, marketing, and carrier submissions to ensure competitive and customized insurance solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners; demonstrate a solid understanding of carrier websites and appetites.
- Manage renewals, endorsements, certificates, audits, and client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals and support agency growth initiatives.
- Ensure all client activity and policy documentation is maintained in the agency management system (AMS360).
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial lines account management within an independent agency setting
- Knowledge of Commercial Lines Coverage and a strong understanding of insurance policies
- Familiarity with carrier websites, quoting systems, and appetite guides (preferred)
- Experience in Account Management and Customer Service within the insurance industry
- Proficiency with insurance software systems, AMS360 (preferred)
- Ability to manage insurance accounts while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Relevant insurance certifications or licenses are a plus
