What You’ll Do:
- Put Your Lab Coat On: Conduct various tests like TA, Brix, refractive index, and color testing with your trusty spectrophotometer.
- Formulate Like a Pro: Work with nutritive and non-nutritive sweeteners to hit calorie targets and mix up some powerful vitamin and mineral premixes.
- Extend Shelf Life (and Maybe Your Career): Help make our products last longer while selecting the best processing parameters, like pasteurization and preservatives.
- Flex Your Excel Skills: Show off your spreadsheet prowess by managing formulations and tracking data.
- Lab Mastery: Weigh ingredients precisely, mix up the magic, and keep our lab running smoothly with organized labels and replenished supplies.
- Quality Control: Maintain top-notch lab practices, ensuring every batch is as good as the last. Accuracy is key!
- Compliance Guru: Know your way around HACCP, NSF, SQF, and Food Safety certifications to keep things compliant.
- Get Your Hands Dirty: You’ll be hands-on with processing procedures and packaging, and you’ll know the difference between every product on the line.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science preferred.
- Experience: 1–2 years in a lab setting. Bonus points if you’ve worked in beverage development.
