Commercial Overhead Doors Installation and Service Technician

We're looking for a motivated Commercial Overhead Doors Installation and Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll install, maintain, and service a wide variety of door systems, including overhead, rolling, swinging, and automatic doors, as well as related hardware and access control components. You'll work independently and as part of a collaborative team, gaining exposure to both residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair overhead garage doors, roll-up doors, swinging doors, and hardware
• Work with access control systems, electric door components, and automated systems
• Use an iPad to manage job orders and documentation
• Work at commercial sites like warehouses, hospitals, and schools, as well as private residences
• Communicate professionally with customers and represent our company values on-site
• Collaborate with teammates and support a strong company culture

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude or technical background is essential
• Prior experience in welding, carpentry, woodworking, electrical, or metal work is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a self-starter mindset
• Ability to work independently after training and take pride in a job well done
• Willingness to learn a specialized trade, no experience required, we'll train the right person
• Valid driver's license required; clean driving record and background check necessary
• Comfortable using basic technology (training provided for specific software)

Compensation:

• Full time position
• Competitive hourly rate at $18.00 to $30.00, depending on experience
