We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the purchasing and supply chain function by handling requisitions, issuing purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and maintaining accurate vendor and inventory data. You will work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to ensure materials, equipment, and services are procured efficiently, on time, and in line with company requirements.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the purchasing and supply chain function by handling requisitions, issuing purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and maintaining accurate vendor and inventory data. You will work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to ensure materials, equipment, and services are procured efficiently, on time, and in line with company requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Review requisitions for completeness and accuracy, coordinating with requestors for clarification when needed.
- Release materials from pre-negotiated blanket purchase orders and maintain tracking logs.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor quotations for requested materials and services.
- Prepare bid invitations (RFQ/RFP), perform vendor quote analysis, and assist with vendor down-selection.
- Issue purchase orders in coordination with supply chain and engineering teams.
- Support submittal generation for requested commodities, equipment, or supplies.
- Process change orders in line with updated BOMs.
- Track and expedite deliveries to ensure on-time arrival of critical materials.
- Manage returns to vendors and secure proper credit when applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor performance, inventory levels, and purchasing data.
- Provide additional support to Supply Chain Manager or Engineering Team Leads as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 0–2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field (education, training, and relevant experience considered).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); ERP/MRP systems experience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and effective in team environments.
- Professional interaction with employees, vendors, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Prior experience in procurement or supply chain within defense, aerospace, or manufacturing.
- Hands-on ERP/MRP system experience.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and process improvement mindset.
- Is proactive and resourceful, solving problems without waiting for permission.
- Is detail-oriented but can also think strategically about systems and scalability.
