Special Educator (One-Year, 2026-2027) Needed

Champlain Valley School District (CVSD) seeks a one-year, 1.0 FTE innovative and collaborative Special Educator to join our Allen Brook school community. CVSD is seeking an educator with demonstrated leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills, who shares our passion for inclusive education. The ideal candidate will have experience working on collaborative teams, including working closely with classroom teachers to co-design instruction. Candidates should indicate in their cover letter any specific expertise or experience they bring to their work, including (but not limited to): literacy or math expertise, coteaching, low-incidence disabilities/intensive needs and working with learners who have social/emotional/behavioral challenges.

A Masters degree or equivalent in Special Education plus relevant experience in providingspecial education services is preferred, but candidates with different backgrounds who may be eligible for licensure are encouraged to apply.
