Allen Blasting and Coating is hiring for a full-time Shop Technician position in Fremont, Nebraska. We’re looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual who is ready to support our crews by assisting with shop operations, tools, and equipment.
Position Overview: - Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8–10 Hour Shifts - Pay Range: $20.00–$24.00 per hour (based on experience) - Overtime available as needed
Job Responsibilities: - Track equipment and inventory; report daily to the Corporate Shop Manager - Load/unload materials, tools, and trailers - Receive, clean, inspect and maintain tools and equipment - Order and organize inventory - Make deliveries/pickups from job sites and vendors - Maintain a clean and safe work environment - Occasional travel, which may include rare overnight stays
Qualifications: - Valid driver’s license required - Able to lift 50 lbs. regularly - Must pass DOT physical, drug screen and background checks - Mechanical experience preferred, although we are willing to train the right candidate - Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) - Safety-oriented, punctual and dependable - Flexible, self-motivated and team-oriented
