Position Summary
The Staff Accountant will work closely with firm partners and senior staff to provide accounting, auditing, tax, payroll, and bookkeeping services to a diverse client base. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, possesses strong analytical skills, and is committed to delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and completion of financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations.
- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
- Process payroll and payroll tax filings for clients.
- Perform bookkeeping and general accounting services, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Assist clients with accounting software and financial reporting questions.
- Research accounting and tax issues as needed.
- Maintain organized workpapers and documentation in accordance with firm standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and regulatory agencies.
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Eligibility to sit for the CPA Exam is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with accounting and tax software is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary : $52,500 - $60,000
