What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate resident care under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RSD)
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including:
- Bathing and dressing
- Grooming and toileting
- Incontinence care
- Transfers and mobility
- Positioning
- Changing bed linens
- Medication reminders
- Follow resident service plans and accurately document all services provided
- Maintain proper records of resident care
- Communicate daily with Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care
- Approach residents, families, guests, and associates with a friendly and service-oriented attitude
- Promote a safe and comfortable environment for residents, associates, and visitors
- Support programming and daily operations within the neighborhood
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of related healthcare experience
- Successful completion of required dementia training, where applicable
- Positive criminal background screening
- Ability to comply with the Company Drug-Free Workplace Policy
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or required based on state regulations
- CNA or Nursing Assistant certification preferred, depending on state requirements
- If licensed or certified, must be in good standing with the appropriate state licensing or certifying agency
- Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems is a plus
