What are the responsibilities and job description for the Allegro Bakery - Weekends - Front of House position at Allegro Bakery?
Allegro is a neighborhood bakery and sandwich shop located in Squirrel Hill. We are hiring a front of house person to work in the retail store for approximately 6-12 hours on weekends for one to two shifts per week. Shifts start at 6:30 or 10am, and are approximately six to seven hours long.
Duties include helping customers with their selection of baked goods, packing pastry boxes, taking sandwich orders, brewing coffee, operating the Toast point of sale system, and maintaining the front of house area with daily cleaning. Prior retail, customer service, or front of house food service experience required.
Pay of $17/hr is from a combination of hourly wages and tips. $17/hr. is the total wage you can expect to make. We provide paid time off, paid sick leave, a 20-minute paid break, and a staff meal with every shift.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
