Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Teacher to inspire and educate students of all ages and skill levels in various dance styles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans, choreographing routines, and creating a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages creativity and personal growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse skill levels and dance styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, modern- contemporary, bachata).
- Instruct and demonstrate proper dance techniques, movements, and skills, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
- Choreograph original routines for performances, recitals, and competitions.
- Provide constructive feedback and individual guidance to students to help them improve their technique and artistic expression.
- Monitor and assess student progress, communicating effectively with students, parents, and administration about development and upcoming events.
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and organized studio space that encourages creativity and teamwork.
- Stay current with new dance trends, techniques, and methodologies through ongoing professional development.

Compensation
This is an independent contractor position with competitive hourly rates based on experience and qualifications. Allegro Academy of Music offers flexible scheduling, allowing teachers to tailor their hours to their availability.
