What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Allegra Design Print Marketing?
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our printing company. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, understands print production, and can take projects from concept through final production.
You will work closely with customers and our production team to create professional, print-ready artwork for a variety of products and marketing materials.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify designs for business cards, flyers, brochures, banners, signs, posters, apparel, and other printed products
- Prepare files accurately for print production
- Review artwork for proper sizing, resolution, bleeds, colors, fonts, and other print specifications
- Make design revisions based on customer feedback
- Work to understand customer design needs and provide creative solutions
- Work closely with the production team to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
- Maintain organized digital files and project records
- Proof designs carefully before sending them to production
- Handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Assist with other design and production-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous graphic design experience required
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign
- Strong understanding of typography, color, composition, and layout
- Knowledge of print production and preparing files for commercial printing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Experience
Experience with a printing company, sign shop, promotional products, apparel printing, large-format printing, or other print-production environment is a plus.
